Psychic mediums are very popular these days with many television shows from celebrities like John Edwards, Lisa William, Chip Coffey and more. Because of this a lot of people are request "Is it real?" Well let me say Yes and No. Just like any profession, there are people who make a bad name for everyone else. Mechanics for example. There are great, honest mechanics and then there are those who are not. I have seen scam artists who do a reading for a few dollars and then say that the client has some bad power around them and for x number per session they can get rid of it. Funny thing about it though is every client they see has the same problem. Then there are the real ones, the ones with integrity that positively want to help people. The ones that defy scientific explanation.

I happen to be married to a Psychic Medium. That may sound scary to some, but it is in fact quite fascinating and peaceful. As my wife says, "Showing person that their loved ones are still very much alive and still very much concerned and complicated in the lives of those still on earth is the many thing I can give. Helping people see that the soul lives on brings them a sense of peace that is unsurpassed, and that is the best reward I could have." It is true, it does give you a peace that is hard to explain. Now, being married to a psychic, I have somewhat of a unique perspective. I am a very scientific minded person. One of those who wants to be able to by comparison things scientifically. I read science magazines and enjoy part physics discussions. So by now you are probably wondering what my inside look has revealed.

Reason #1: When my wife does a reading, she amazes people by saying very exact things about departed loved ones that she has never met and knows nothing about. She does this without getting any data from the person she is reading for. I am not talking about general stuff like "Your mom loves you." I mean she will give names, descriptions and other very detailed data about the spirit she communicates with. Now that alone is amazing, but the skeptic would say that at best she is reading the client's mind. Here is how I know she is not.

Reason#2: I will do psychic exercises with my wife where I will write the name of a predominant person who is no longer living on a piece of paper and fold it up tightly. She at no time sees what name I have written on the paper. I give her the paper and she starts to spout all kinds of things she sees, hears and feels. She will say what the spirit is telling her and she will ask questions of the spirit. Again you may say she read my mind and perhaps she has some knowledge of the person, being a predominant person, or even subconsciously remembers things she has seen about them. Here is where it positively gets interesting. As if it were not already.

She will narrate details that very few people would know, aside from historians who happen to be brushed up on this particular person from history. These details are not what you learn in school and I positively do not believe the average person could have ever run across it. I will write down and record all she says and I won't even know if most of it is even remotely correct. The next day we will do allinclusive research and observe that we can verify almost every particular thing that my wife said in the session. Things like the names of pets and children, what the person's profession was, and intricate details of their personal life. Quite often she doesn't understand why she is seeing something, like seeing down at the earth from space for example, until she finds out who the spirit is. Then it all makes unblemished sense. Like for Gene Roddenberry, the originator of Star Trek, in this case.

Many times in these exercises, she will say a few sentences and then tell me the person's name! At that point we don't take anyone else she says as solid, since she already knows who it is. She will at times narrate pages of data about the spirit, and occasionally some controversial things as well. Most of the time the soul being contacted views their most important contributions differently than what the history books say.

Many people say that a real psychic medium taste is life changing and I have to agree. I am lucky enough to be with my best friend, the love of my life and I get to be reminded every day by what my wife does, that there is something other than this existence.

So after many, many experiences with a psychic medium on a daily basis, I find that the only logical closing is that there are people with true psychic medium abilities! As Sir Arthur Conan Doyle put it in Sherlock Holmes, "When you have eliminated the impossible, anyone remains, any way improbable, must be the truth."
